The Fire Department Volunteers meet

on the 2, 3, and 4th Tuesdays of each month! 

The Fire Hall is located on Birch Lane near the adjacent to the Civic Center.

Fire Department Roster for 2009:

The Cottonwood Shores Volunteer Fire Department was incorporated in 1972.  The present Fire Hall was built in 1991.  Members of honorable mention are:  Dutch Leming, Jim Jones, Ken McBride, Charlie Myers and the Chief of CWSVFD of today, Lanny Atchley!

Our object is as all fire fighters to protect the people and property of Cottonwood Shores area to the best of our ability. 

Our Goals: 

1.  Promote fire safety and awareness

2.  Maintain fire and life safety apparatus

3.  Coordinate emergency management

4.  Coordinate with EMS

5.  Fire suppression

6.  Search and Rescue
